Single mama no more… struggles still happening

This Is Me

My name is Amanda, but you can call me Mandi. I’m 31 and the proud mama of two beautiful daughters. I’m rededicating myself to this blog because I want to create a place where people feel at home—a place to share, find encouragement, ask questions, and feel heard.

I’m picking up the pieces of my own life. After experiencing domestic violence and losing custody of my youngest daughter, I’ve been facing the heartbreak of being separated from her for more than a year and a half. Rebuilding while carrying that pain has been incredibly hard. I don’t have all the answers, but I know this: I will not give up.

This blog is a place for honest conversations about parenting, healing, relationships, self-image, self-confidence, and self-esteem. We’ll talk about trauma, mental health, physical challenges, addiction, domestic violence, and the childhood experiences we carry into raising our own children. We’ll also make room for the difficult realities of custody, separation, and shared parenting.

I welcome readers sharing their experiences and qualified professionals offering insight and guidance. My hope is that we can learn healthier ways to face life’s challenges, support families and teens, and remind one another that we don’t have to carry everything alone.

You don’t need a perfect life or the perfect words to belong here. Your story matters. Your voice matters. And you deserve to be heard.

Grow with me. Let’s build a village rooted in support, encouragement, and unconditional love—a place where we can feel at home.
